I think he’s beautiful! Did you look at that face? Like the horse, the eyes reveal the soul. Sure, he could use a bath & some grooming, but would that make him/her more worthy of our respect? I doubt he smells very good except to another camel.??
Beauty’s in the eye of the beholder, Linda. I wouldn’t call him/her beautiful – expressive, striking, but not beautiful. With that thick, ungroomed coat, I’m sure he had a rich smell.
If the committee had voted to put the 2 humps of the Bactrian Camel side by side tranversally they could have shortened the foot base of the camel by a couple of feet, thus improving parking at the oasis?
